Gail Report - Week One

Gail met me at Dr. Carol's office with a wagging tail and a kiss on each cheek when I knelt down to say hello. That was a pretty good indication of how this week was going to go. We'll break it down here, but in summary? She's pretty much the perfect hound!!!

1. Personality: you could not ask for a sweeter addition to your home! There is not a shy bone in Gail's lil body! She gets along famously with the other houndies, the 14-yo mutt, and the kitties, whom she has gently and longly sniffed, but that's all. She's a curious and playful soul, no doubt, but she's also very respectful and just devastatingly loving. (That said, she is a proper hound who knows how to steal with the best of them. You wouldn't want some nerdy goody-two-shoes nobody likes!)

2. Looks: Gail is STUNNINGly beautiful. She is one petite solid muscle in fluid motion, and that shiny fawn body with striking black mask is one in a million. Especially with those honey-colored eyes looking out of it. Check her out - that's all I've got to say about that.

3. Greyhound-ness: She roaches. She roos. She played with toys right off the bat. She loves treats. She smiles. She slept through the night from day one. Did I mention that she steals? What more could you possibly want????

NOTE: I have 3 dogs and 3 cats and only 2 hands. That leaves me 4 short already, for petting purposes. Somebody please adopt this houndie and save me from myself SOON!!! :) Seriously, whether you're looking for your first hound or a "chip," Gail is going to be an easy addition and a much-cherished part of someone's family.
